Michal Lev-Ram is a senior writer at Fortune, where she has been on staff since 2010. Previously, Lev-Ram worked at Business 2.0 and had been a frequent contributor to CNNMoney, Popular Science, and Fast Company. Lev-Ram is based in Silicon Valley, where she covers the technology industry for the magazine and website. She is also co-chair of Fortune's Brainstorm Tech conference and Most Powerful Women Next Gen event. Her outstanding reporting contributed to Fortune winning a SABEW Best in Business Award for its technology coverage in 2012. She holds a degree in journalism from San Francisco State University and lives in Palo Alto.
